About Us
The Eastern Carolina Community Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity organized as a collection of individual funds. Families, organizations, businesses, and individuals establish permanent charitable funds at our community foundation which are intended for the long-term benefit of the Pee Dee region.
Because community foundations are experts on both sides of the philanthropic experience, they are unique among charitable organizations. We provide exceptional service to each individual fund within our foundation as well as maintain an extensive knowledge of the Pee Dee region and its needs. As a public charity, the community foundation offers favorable tax treatment for gifts and a variety of giving methods to help people achieve their charitable goals.
