These scholarship are established by generous donors committed to furthering the education of the next generation. Each scholarship has its own specific purpose and eligibility criteria according to the recommendations of the donor. Justin O’Connor Memorial Fund Scholarship – Deadline April 9, 2018
Open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to a 4 year university or college and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better. Applicants must reside in the following Pee Dee counties: Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion, Marlboro, or Williamsburg.
Wilson Class of 1945 Scholarship – Deadline April 16, 2018
Open to graduating Wilson High School seniors who have been accpeted to an institution of higher learning (vocational, technical, specialized or academic) in the state of South Carolina. Applicant must have a GPA outside of the top 10% and demonstrate financial need.
The Michelle Yolanda Glenn Carey Scholarship – Deadline April 2, 2018
Open to Florence area high school graduating seniors who have been accepted to an institution of higher learning in the state of South Carolina with the intent to pursue a degree and career in elementary education. Applicants must also have graduated from Theodore Lester Elementary School.
FBi Scholarship at Eastern Carolina Community Foundation – Deadline April 2, 2018
Open to students who reside in Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Marion, Marlboro, or Williamsburg counties. Applicants must have been accepted to an institution of higher learning with the intent to pursue a degree or professional certificate in a construction related industry.
